A pair of Chinese carved root wood figures of boys on buffalos, Qing Dynasty, 19th centuryThe buffalos modelled recumbent, each with a boy riding on its back, with carved hardwood stands, 27cm wide. (2)Condition report: One is in good condition with only minor/negligible signs of age. The other has one horn tip re-glued, the right front hoof re-glued, the upper teeth missing, some small gouges to the rump. Both bases are in good condition with only negligible signs of age.
