张大千（1899－1983）原名正权，后改名爰，小名季，又名季爰。号大千、大千居士，以号行。画室名大风堂。四川内江人。张大千在现代艺坛上，张大千大概是成就最高的国画家了。他精山水、工人物、善花草，还能书会銮，我不知能出其右者谁？比起会画来，张大千的书法略逊一筹，但另有一功，不可小看。这款“张大千”三字签名，就既见功力又有特色。“张”字重心在左上，结构上收下放，很有画意，又具张力；“大千”两字处在一起，且“大”字笼罩着“千”字，有呵护之意；“张”字又与“大千”两字拉开一段距离，有疏有密，结构不呆板，有变化。纵观三字，均贯串在同一重心线上，所以图式空灵而重心安稳，视觉效果很好。
