Stamped to underside with city stamp of London; maker's mark of IM & ISH representing John Mortimer & John Samuel Hunt; date letter of 1843; a duty mark of Victoria, 1838-1890; additional inscription of, "Mortimer & Hunt". Accompanied by matched cut crystal vessel. Total approx. weight of two silver vessels is 257.72 troy oz, excluding cut crystal. From a Hastings-on-Hudson, NY estate.
