A Chinese Wucai Porcelain Vase, 17th century, of archaic Gu form, painted with bands of scrolling foliage within stiff-leaf borders, 44cm high, on a later European gilt bronze stand cast and worked with stylised foliageCondition report: Neck of vase broken off and in two separate pieces with old riveted repairs. The bulk of the rivetted repairs now removed and replaced with adhesive. Large hose drilled to underside of base. Some typical minor surface wear and glaze flaking throughout. Gilt metal base detached and with wear and losses to surface.
