张正宇，别号石门老人，生于清光绪三十年(1904年)，无锡北门外三里桥人。自小酷爱绘画。早年上过私塾，后在面粉厂当练习生，17岁时随 长兄张光宇去上海，学习绘制广告和布景。张正宇从事漫画、装璜工艺美术方面的创作、出版、经营活动。
