王震（1867-1938），字壹亭，號白龍山人，浙江省吳興人，生於上海。海派代表性畫家。早年學習任伯年畫法，中年後拜吳昌碩為師，曾參與發起豫園書畫善會。好佛，曾任中國佛教會會長。晚年曾為全國藝術家協會理事。著作有《白龍山人詩稿》等。王傳燾系清末民初海上名人王一亭的第三個兒子，排行老六，生性敏慧，幼年勤奮好學，在王一亭唯一繼承了書畫技藝的子女。1918年年僅15歲的王傳燾就為陳其美墓碑題寫“氣壯山河”四個大字，與孫中山題“成仁取義”、蔣中正題“精神不死”並列於墓塋，世人見後為之驚嘆。
