此碗撇口、深弧腹、圈足。内外壁均饰黄釉，釉色娇润匀净，黄地上又以青花绘四组螭龙纹。青花深蓝，发色完美，色泽浓艳夺目，苍翠欲滴。绘制笔法潇洒自如，技艺十分高超。底书青花双圈“大明成化年制”六字楷款。黄地青花始创于明宣德朝，清《南窑笔记》载“宣德有青花填黄地者”所指即为此工艺，自创烧之始即成为御窑的名贵品种。它是低温黄釉与青花工艺相结合的产物，其制作方法为在已烧成的青花器上，在青花纹样外以黄釉填满，复入彩炉经低温烘烤，青黄二色交相生辉，给人以素净明艳之感。
