The inked branches cascade down from the upper right, with the smaller twigs jutting off at sharp angles. Reversing this downward movement, numerous young buds point up to the sky, and two flowers open to show a red and yellow interior, contrasting with the paper-white petals. The touches of intense color disrupt the monochromatic scheme, and two bees in flight, their wings blurred in motion, hover in anticipation. T
