作者简介：顾廷龙（1904～1998），字起潜，号匋誃，江苏吴县人。著名文字学家，版本目录学家，图书馆学家。为西泠印社会员，工诗文、书法，尤精金文大篆。毕业于燕京大学研究院。1932年起任燕京大学图书馆采访部主任，兼任北平研究院史学研究会名誉编辑，参加考古学社。解放后，任上海图书馆馆长。
