品相：良好 中国人对玉的特殊喜好自古有之，在古代，君子无故玉不去身，君子于玉彼得焉。而玉的温润色泽象征仁慈，坚硬质地象征智慧，不伤人的棱角标示公平正义，人们相信玉代表着正气和灵性，能护身驱邪。《说文》曰：“韘，射也”, 韘即是扳指的前身，说明此器起初是为骑射之具。清代各种规制日趋完善，扳指虽小却也是森严等级的一种象征，多以玉石、翡翠、玛瑙、珊瑚等名贵材料制作的扳指，非皇室贵胄一般人是不敢也不能随意佩戴的。扳指的大小薄厚，依使用者文武身份定夺，武扳指多为素面，文扳指多于外壁精刻诗句或花纹，此拍品即为文扳指，且帝王赏玩之物，故更为精美。
