A Chinese white jade reticulated plaque with a brooch setting dating from the Ming dynasty. The plaque features a mythical figure squatting on a lotus surrounded by flames. Dimensions are: the jade measures 1 5/8 inches tall X 1 inches long X 1/8 inches thick, 4.1 cm X 2.5 cm X 0.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a minuscule chip to one flame.
