A Chinese inside-painted glass snuff bottle by Ye Zhongsan. The round, flat bottle comes with a wooden stand. One side of the painting depicts Zhongkui riding a donkey accompanied by two ghostly attendants. The other side of the painting depicts a woman with three ghostly attendants and bats, and it is accompanied by an inscription with one seal. The glass itself is molded with beast head motifs with engaged rings on the sides. The bottle comes with a jadeite stopper. Dimensions are: 2 5/8 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches long X 1 inch wide, 6.7 cm X 5.7 cm X 2.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is one chip to the rim.
