Two Export Famille Rose Plates, China, possibly 18th/19th century, both soup-plate-form, one decorated with a garden scene with figures in the well, the rim with four bird-and-flower designs in shaped reserves against a gilt floral ground, gilt and grisaille details; and one with barbed mouth rim, decorated in Japanese style with floral designs with insects, underglaze blue and gilt details, ht. to 1 3/4, dia. to 9 1/8 in.
