A Chinese famille rose tianqiu floor vase dating from the Qing dynasty. It comes with a two-part wooden stand. The white ground vase is decorated throughout with twelve birds among pink flowering branches and lingzhi. The bottom has a 6-character mark. Dimensions are: 24 inches tall X 15 inches in diameter, 61 cm X 38.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in overall good condition. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is. Notes: This bottle vase is fresh like a spring garden. Flowering plum boughs are rendered softly and elegantly, with a level of detail rivaling real branches. Their realism transports the viewer to a courtly garden, awash in fragrance and birdsong. The bottle's composition is quite regular, and the white glazed ground is even and clear. When it is displayed and appreciated you can see the legacy of the Qing Dynasty's porcelain.天球瓶為瓷器當中品格最高之造形，自永樂創製以來，備受世人推崇。此天球瓶恢弘高雅，胎釉精良細膩，通景繪喜上梅梢圖，畫中曲枝蒼健，寒香沁人，喜鵲活潑歡快，各有神態，或上下對望，或前後相隨，或高歌起舞，洋溢著一派喜慶之氣，柔和典雅，明麗而不流俗，富貴亦不失雅致，寓意「喜上眉梢」。其構圖頗具章法，疏密相宜；彩料鮮妍佚麗，質感逼真，展賞之際如臨春苑，自見乾隆禦瓷之遺風。The British Museum in London houses a similar example under accession number 1936,0413.43.
