A Chinese bronze jue cup dating from the Western Zhou dynasty. It comes with an old wooden box which has an inscription and one seal on the outside of the lid, and an inscription, signature, and two seals on the inside of the lid. The jue cup features a geometric band of decoration around the body. Dimensions are: 7 3/4 inches tall X 6 inches wide, 19.7 cm X 15.2 cm. Weight: 596 grams. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are significant areas of damage and repair to the mouth. There is significant age wear including areas of loss and dents. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
