此炉选用精铜而制，规格大小适中，炉体作方形，由炉身及炉盖两部分组成，仿编篓式方弧盖，直口，浑肩，深腹，炉身弧线流畅，炉底微捺以成圈足，中央以錾刻手法镌 “浩然堂”阴文篆书款。炉盖制作尤为精细繁复，系手工制成再磨光。炉内壁可见清晰的锤鍱痕迹，炉盖炉身吻合紧密，经数百年开合而不松动。炉款书法自然有度，运刀信手拈来，游刃有余。整器光洁圆浑，平整素净，观赏性与实用性兼备。
