尉晓榕 1957年生于福建福州。1981年毕业于浙江美术学院中国画系。毕业后任教于福建师范大学艺术系。1986年调回浙江美术学院任教至今。历任中国美术学院教授、中国画系主任、中国美术家协会艺术委员会副主任、浙江省美协主席团成员。曾获“第六届中草药图书一等奖”、“冰心图书奖”。代表作有《旧时明月》、《水乡社戏》、《一尊青花》。
Wei Xiaorong was born in Fuzhou, Fujian in 1957. In 1981, Wei graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of China Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, Wei is professor of China Academy of Fine Arts, Director of the Department of Chinese Painting, deputy director of art committee of China Artists Association. Notable works include Moon in Old Times, Opera in Waterside Town, Blue and White Vase, etc
