由人民美术出版社于1954年出版的《牛郎织女》四条屏为墨浪的代表作之一，其原稿曾在2014年西泠春拍第十届中国国际动漫节·漫画插图专场上以1,058,000RMB的高价成交。本次上拍的民国年间《牛郎织女》国画四条屏与之几乎如出一辙，但画面并不完全一致——相较于前者，其线条更为工整，背景也更加细腻。
