In 1979, Liang was admitted to the Beijing Painting Academy to learn figure painting from Zhou Sicong and Lu Chen. In 1990, he graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is a member of China Artists Association, Vice President of Hebei Artists Association, the First-class painter, Deputy Director of Creation and Research Department of China Academy of Chinese Painting and President of Hebei Young Artists Association. He was awarded the Golden Ring Prize of the National Comic Competition and his representative work is Old Well.|纪京宁 1957年生于江苏南京。1985年毕业于河北师范大学美术学院，并留校任教。1990年在中央美术学院国画系进修，2004年调入中央民族大学美术学院任教授。现为中国美术家协会会员之一。代表作有《老井》。|Ji Jingning was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province in 1957. He worked with Hebei Normal University as a teacher right after his graduation there in 1985. In 1990, he got a chance of studying at Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1990 and was appointed as professor of College of Art of Minzu University of China in 2004.
