此座以紫檀雕刻而成，為透雕纏枝形。整體造型精致，鏤空雕刻花卉紋，雕琢手法精湛，紋飾精細，給人以厚重之感，頗具觀賞性。 背面底落「丙」字款，可初步斷定為當時宮廷用品。根據資料可以推測出極有可能是玉石等物的底座，此座與所承之物為分開保存，保存此物的共箱亦有100年之久，可見是極其貴重物品之底座。 東京中央拍賣曾於2015年秋季拍賣釋出同「丙」字款底座（LOT0424明末清初 德化白瓷觀音坐像「林孝宗印」款）與「乙」字款底座（LOT0434清乾隆 仿汝窯雙如意耳瓶 「大清乾隆年製」款）以茲佐證。
