The Church is St. Mary's Stockport - the market is the old cast iron structure that over the last 150 years seems to go hand in hand with the Parish church - one is lost without the other, at the moment it is being decided wether [sic.] or not to replace the market hall with the usual glass and concrete which are todays [sic.] thinking. Heres [sic.] one person who is wishing that the planners leave this gem of northern England alone - the news of this caused me to want to record the scene as it is today and what a pleasure it was to work on this subject.
