After Sir Anthony van Dyck, Flemish 1599-1641- Portrait of Queen Henrietta Maria, quarter-length turned to the left; oil on canvas, impressed stamp 'FRs Leedham / Liner' (on the reverse of the centre of the upper vertical stretcher cross member), 50.6 x 45.5 cm. Additional later copies of the originalposition exist and are housed at Eastnor Castle; in the collection of the Earl of Pembroke, at Wilton House; and in the National Portrait Gallery, London [NPG 277]. Francis Leedham (1794-1870) was the leading picture liner of his day, working in London between 1831 and 1858.
