An Empire ormolu mantel clock, early 19th century, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Breguet hands, dial signed R. Lopin, Palais Royal No. 143, twin train drum movement, striking a bell (bell missing), the case surmounted with cherub in a plumed helmet, ormolu mounted with snakes, floral wreaths, mask and cornucopia, on engine turned bun feet, with pendulum and key, 33cm high, 18cm wide, 10cm deep Note: Lopin worked for Breguet in 1798 before opening his own shop at Palais Royal, 1810 - 1840.
