Colorfully painted in Kakiemon manner with rocks, peony shrub, peacock, Indian flowers and insects. On the bottom purple onglaze sword mark. Chips on the stand, restored Possibly a piece made for the Parisian merchant Lemaire, with an onglaze mark, which after removing it was to go into French trade as Japanese porcelain, but remained in Saxony after the fraud was exposed in 1731.
