An ancient Chinese bronze hand mirror with two dragons design, dating from the Song dynasty (960-1279). A circular disc, resembling a small shield, with incised two dragon design on one side, curved and facing each other, with a flat handle attached. D. 4 7/8" (12.3 cm) Overall: 9" (22.8 cm) collction of a private Brooklyn collector Condition: good condition overall for extreme age and use, with aging to the bronze in the form of tarnishing and crusting.
