Two Japanese blue & iron red bowls, dating from the Meiji period. The square bowls have thick sides and a thick base. Inside bottom design of waves and flowers and on other dragon and tree blossoms. White glazed bowls with brown glaze rim detail. Outside designs; two sides dragons and two other sides lines of Chinese characters. Recessed base with thick foot. Six blue character stamp on the base. D. 4 1/2" (11.4 cm) Condition: good condition overall with surface wear
