Measurements: Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Jiaqing famille jaune meiping porcelain jar. The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, heavy body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in famille jaune design color, an even coat of a egg yellow glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The yellow glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. Mark on shoulder, a six blue script characters reign mark, Jiaqing Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
