Precious jacket with embroidery for a small child (probably toddler). Twentieth century. From the Miao people of Guizhou province in southwest China. Dark plum background with cobalt cuffs and purple print lining with fabric knot buttons. Cotton fabric. Length (back of neck to bottom: 17 1/2" and chest: 14 1/2".  Condition: 1" tear along outer seam at underarm. Some soiling most noticeable to cobalt sleeve ends. Please view all photos.
