Description

This pouring vessel has a pressed belly, a flared cup opening and an animal head (dragon head) spout. The decoration on each side is a plant with a flower & serrated leaves. There is extensive fine crazing in the glaze, a small split along the opening and a shallow chip along the foot rim. There is unevenness along the rim & foot; there is also a small lump at the bottom, most likely a production flaw. The handle shows a break and repair in 4 places. Please examine all photos closely with attention to the handle. This item is being sold AS IS. The body and spout are in good condition: no chips or cracks. The ewer is app 8 1/2" tall, app 7" wide from the spout tip to the arc of the handle; the widest part of the belly is app 6 1/2"; the lower part of the body is app 4 1/2" thick. Buyer is advised to research all information provided. Seller does not offer returns.
