青玉，香筒作圓柱形，中空，外壁以鏤空技法剔雕福壽龍紋。行龍盤曲在圓筒上，其間祥雲繚繞，龍身鱗片刻劃精細，龍首雙目炯炯有神，嘴顎鬚髯上揚，張口怒目，呈現清代龍紋的典型特徵。而香筒的另一端鏤刻數朵團壽紋與蝙蝠紋，則讓人一目了然這是一件具有祝人長壽的吉祥玉雕作品。
玉雕香筒是清代宮廷的陳設用器，不過從此件的尺寸大小來看，該香筒無疑是作為案頭陳設的實用香具。香筒既陳案頭，若點上沉香，其煙雲的氤氲效果或有神龍見首不見尾的神秘意境。
