The work is made in a single piece which houses a sculptural ensembleprising various figures and characters. Conceived as a landscape, at the base there is a rock, on which the three main characters in the scene stand. In the lower part, a small bridge indicates the landscape conception of this piece. Next to the bridge, at one end is the figure of an old man, while at the upper left is a young man carrying a basket, and crowning the sculpture is a third man riding an ox. Both the clothing and the attitudes of the figures indicate that this is a genre painting, reflecting the popular types of Japanese society.Dimensions: 31 x 37 x 27.5 cm.
