此器仿商代酒器罍，大器化小而为之，尺寸相对精巧且端庄，在传世的仿古“罍”形器中极为少见。
四面坡式盖，顶部盖钮与盖形相似，束直颈，腹部高深，边角转折明朗，底部高圈足外撇。肩两侧及腹铸饰四个兽吞把式龙耳，盖侧及上腹部每面均在素地上饰两两相对的夔凤纹。
