Louis Vuitton Vintage Monogram Coated Canvas Wardrobe Steamer Trunk Condition: 4 25.5" Height x 43.5" Width x 21.5" Depth This trunk is done in Brown Monogram Coated Canvas with brass hardware, featuring wood trim, three flip clasps, one leather side handle (the other is detached but present), and one key lock mechanism (no key included). The interior is done in orange coated canvas, featuring a flip top on the left side with velour lining, a wardrobe hanging compartment with a partition and seven assorted wooden hangers, and a small briefcase with two snap closures and handle. The right side of the interior features six pull-out drawers, three of which still include the original cheesecloth covering, and a locking mechanism underneath the top drawer. There is a red stencil that reads "S.M.E San Francisco Calif." and an arrow on other side. The trunk shows heavy signs of age and wear throughout, including: tarnishing, verdigris, and scratching to the exterior and interior hardware, as well as patina, cracking, stains, and marks to the wood, canvas and leather. There are several large press marks to the coated canvas. There are a few areas of peeling on the left side and signs of very heavy wear to the former handle location. The hardware to the right side corners (where the trunk rests when standing up) are partially detached. The interior shows darkening, scattered stains, and marks throughout the canvas, velour top, leather accents, and inside the drawers.
