It was only available in stainless steel, fitted with the newly introduced black acrylic bezel and equipped with new screw-down chronograph pushers. Also known as “Millerighe” (1000 lines), thanks to their more subtle readingpared to later generations, these pushers are made of nickel-plated brass and represent the recognition detail for the 6240. The present watch is distinguished by its early non-Oyster silvered dial, not yet making reference to the screw down pushers. Only for a second generation of reference 6240, Rolex designed a dial with the Oyster denomination. Remarkable in conditions and quality of the stainless steel case with American jubilee bracelet is still fresh and nice with perfectly intact acrylic bezel graduated for 200 units per hour. The silvered dial shows amazingly aged and tropical registers that confers charm and beauty to the whole watch.
