In the 1990s, theplication was revamped after the quartz crisis with the caliber 2120/2800, 2120/2801, and 2120/2802. Always been admired by collectors for beingbined with the iconic octagonal case, in 2002 AP introduced the 25930SP QP with openworked dial and, most of all, diamond bezel powered by the caliber 2120/2820. The here offered specimen of this reference is for sure the non-plus ultra in terms of preciousness, beauty andplexity. The 39 mm wide case is equipped with the iconic Audemars Piguet steel bracelet, nicely preserved. The steel three-body case is equipped with an octagonal bezel in platinum, the only non-steel element of the wholeposition, which is further embellished with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds interspersed with 8 screws. The dial is visible from a sapphire crystal which exposes the beautifully finished automatic movement. Obviously, it has a perpetual calendarplication, or quantième perpetual as Audemars Piguet calls it, which means it displays the day, date, month and automatically adjusts for a leap year. If that is not good enough, the watch also has a moon phase indicator. The case back is open worked and signed “No 410” of an unknown range.
