(4).The word Tsuten here probably refers generally to autumn maple foliage and not specifically to the famous Tsuten Bridge in the grounds of Tofukuji Temple in Kyoto. Born in Kanazawa, Futagi Seiho studied under Yamamoto Toshinari, and later with the Ishikawa-based artists Igarashi Doho and Shimizu Kyubei.
