Ca. 2nd-4th Century AD A pottery vessel in the form of a jug / FLAGON with a bulbous-shaped body. It features a short neck and everted rim. A single handle arching from the neck to the shoulder. The vessel sits on a low foot ring. Traces of red slip are visible throughout the body.Vessels such as this one were designed for everyday use, in particular for carrying and serving water and wine at banquets.
