These huge crystals are found in pegmatites in various parts of Madagascar. In this fine, classic rendering of two cranes, both are carved of Madagascar Liddicotite tourmaline, each with a beak of transparent indicolite tourmaline, on a rock crystal base, rimmed with 18K yellow gold, unsigned.
