The fossil fish and plants of the 52 million year old dry Green River lake beds are famous for the their excellent quality. This 15 ½ X 8 inch limestone slab contains three complete highly detailed fish with all of their skin, bone and scales. The largest fish is a Priscacara, an extinct species of Perch with its sharp dorsal and ventral spines. The fish is ¾ complete and looks like it is swimming out from beneath the large 8 inch long partial banana leaf. The other two fish are Knightias with the larger one measuring 3 inches long.
