Ordinary chondrite (L6)near Ozerki village, Lipetskaya oblast', RussiaA fireball was widely observed over the Lipetskaya oblast' in Russia on June 21, 2018, at 01:16 am Ural Time. The first meteorite fragments were recovered based on analysis by scientists from the University of Helsinki permitting the discovery of the meteorite. Scientific modeling plotted the strewnfield and assumed about 100 meteorites (excepting the main body) with total mass ~7 kg. The present specimen which is capable of standing on its own due to a fragmentary bottom end, has a black fusion crust to at least two sides.
