A gilt copper-alloy head modelled in the round as a crowned Buddha head, semi-naturalistic detailing to the face, with lentoid eyes, slender brows and fleshy chin, studded elongated earlobes, hair visible beneath the splayed crown, designed with two smaller triangular finials flanking a larger central one, studded with a polished ruby cabochon surrounded by pellets, hair cropped at rear; remains of gilding to the front and rear; cylindrical lug through head; mounted on a custom-made display stand.
