Property of a deceased estate - a jewelled gilt bronze figure of Buddha on stand with mandala, 18th century or earlier, probably Chinese, losses to some jewels, the punch decorated base plate to the figure detached, 10.5ins. (26.7cms.) high (overall). Provenance - Cecil Stack, who worked for Dunlop Rubberpany from the 1920's to the 1960's, and was for many years the Managing Director of The Dunlop Rubberpany in India.
