MIGUEL ÁNGEL GARCÍA LÓPEZ (Palma, 1975)."Dogo".Oil on canvas.Measurements: 105.5 x 101.5 cm.Miguel García López has a long career of exhibitions and awards to his credit. He alternates his professional career with teaching painting in Eivissa and Sant Josep. He considers himself self-taught, learning from classics and moderns to extract from it a personal work. Landscapes, peasant girls, Ibizan corners and whitewashed walls are some of his themes. Since he was a finalist for the Art Jove Govern Balear Painting Prize in 1999, he has regularly received awards.
