However as is common with Tole there have been some losses and wear to edges and corners which have been retouched- current surface is dirty making it difficult to determine whether more broad repainting has been carried out.First pair- generally good- looks to have had one spot repair to a handle- lid handles may be refixed, Second pair- daylight shows extensive repainting to the black field- rubbing and losses throughout- notably to lid finials.
