However as is common with Tole there have been considerable losses and wear to edges and corners which have been retouched- current surface is dirty making it difficult to determine whether more broad repainting has been carried out. The retouching and bubbling to surface most noticeable around exposed upper and lower edges and corners. later base fitment with visible pin attachments around plinth.
