A pair of Chinese famille rose plates dating from the 19th century. Both interiors feature alternating inscriptions and labeled figures around a central roundel of a reclining figure, all set against a white ground. The bottoms have 6-character marks. Dimensions are: 1 1/2 inches tall X 6 inches in diameter, 3.8 cm X 15.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.
