A Chinese underglaze blue and red jar dating from the 19th century. The exterior is decorated with a repeating pattern of bats and clouds. There is a banana leaf band around the foot and a Greek key band around the mouth. The mouth also has a 6-character inscription. Dimensions are: 4 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches in diameter, 10.2 cm X 12.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.
