A BRONZE FIGURE OF TARA, 1900sChina, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) - Republic Period (1912-1949). Cast seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base, the right hand extended in varada mudra, and the left held in vitarka mudra. The face with serene expression surmounted by a foliate tiara, the hair arranged in a tall chignon.
