† A GUAN-TYPE CRACKLE-GLAZED VASE, QING TO REPUBLICChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The baluster shaped porcelain body rising from a short circular foot to a tall cylindrical neck with everted lip. Covered overall with an unctuous pale gray glaze suffused with a network of pale crackle. The foot rim left unglazed revealing the dark reddish-brown ware, the underside with an apocryphal underglaze blue six-character Yongzheng seal mark.Condition: Good condition with some firing flaws, surface scratches, glaze chips and wear.Provenance: A notable private collector in Kensington, London, United Kingdom, originally acquired in America.Weight: 416 g Dimensions: Height 17 cm13% VAT will be added to the hammer price additional to the buyer’s premium - only for buyers within the EU.
