Of circular form with foliate rim, finely painted in shades of underglaze blue, the centre with a scene of two ladies in fine robes, one playing a musical instrument while the other looks on, both seated below a tree, a fenghuang above, encircled by sixteen petal shaped panels, each containing a plant, including pine, bamboo, prunus, lotus and peony, and around the rim birds and petals, the back with further panels of flowers and at the rim the ‘one hundred antiques’ motif, with a six-character Kangxi mark.
